Spinning Through Style: A Dive into the Dizzy Mule Apartments' Design and Furniture Picks

We had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented team at Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture on the Dizzy Mule Apartments, a standout multi-family project.

By curating our favorite pieces from Andreu World, Gus Modern, and Blu Dot, we were able to elevate the amenity spaces, leasing offices, and model units, adding a touch of personality to each area.

What makes this space truly special is the blend of old and new. The team was able to restore the original beams, brick, and frames throughout the lobby, co-working spaces, and units, preserving the charm of the building, while giving it a modern twist.

We not only furnished the model unit, but also hand-picked one-of-a-kind accessories, both new and vintage, to bring in that extra layer of uniqueness. 

And, just to top it off, our designer and co-owner, Brandon came up with a Dizzy Mule craft cocktail that sits pretty in the unit's charming kitchen.

The co-working spaces within the Dizzy Mule Apartments are a perfect example of functional design meets aesthetic appeal.

We took great care in selecting pieces that encourage productivity and creativity, while still feeling warm and inviting. For instance, the work cubbies in the open-plan workspaces offer a perfect balance of privacy and collaboration. They provide a subtle boundary without blocking natural light or the feeling of openness, and make it easy for residents to work, meet or take a break.

We also love how the private conference rooms turned out. These rooms were thoughtfully designed to provide both privacy and style for those important meetings or brainstorming sessions.

With comfortable seating and clean, minimalistic tables, these rooms have a quiet elegance to them that encourages collaboration and focus. Thoughtful details, like custom lighting fixtures and unique carpet and wall art, bring personality to the spaces while maintaining an air of professionalism.

Whether it’s the cozy nooks or the spacious conference rooms, the co-working areas at Dizzy Mule Apartments are designed to meet the diverse needs of the community. It’s a perfect balance of function, style, and flexibility, allowing for both solo work and team collaboration to thrive.
