Dizzy Mule was envisioned and designed by Alley Poyner Macchietto for Bluestone Development, with interiors that honor the building’s industrial past while embracing a bold, modern personality. Housed within a reimagined former factory, the design thoughtfully preserves original architectural elements, including hardwood flooring, exposed structure and raw material moments, allowing the building’s history to remain present throughout the spaces. A layered color palette, expressive patterns and curated artwork bring warmth and energy to the interiors, while textured materials add depth and authenticity, creating a story-driven environment that feels both rooted and refreshed within this vibrant neighborhood.

A range of furnished spaces was designed to support daily living and social connection, including the rooftop, leasing office, model unit, coworking areas and shared amenity spaces throughout the community. Each area is intentionally layered with furniture that balances character and functionality, reinforcing the design narrative through materiality, scale and detail. Hutch Contract partnered closely with Alley Poyner Macchietto to bring the vision to life, sourcing and procuring furnishings that complement the architecture, enhance durability in high-use environments and help Dizzy Mule stand out as a distinctive and spirited addition to the Millwork neighborhood.
