Inside The Wyatt: San Diego’s Newest Multifamily Gem
When we think back on The Wyatt project, the first thing that comes to mind is collaboration and sunshine. We had the pleasure of working alongside Gensler Seattle, Gensler Dallas, and Wermers Company to bring this multifamily community in San Diego’s Makers Quarter to life.
The Gensler teams brought thoughtful, creative design direction and our role in sourcing and procuring the right furnishings was a true partnership. Traveling between Omaha and San Diego throughout the winter months didn’t hurt either. Those quick escapes to warm weather and blue skies made the project all the more enjoyable.
Join us for a walk through of The Wyatt as we highlight some of our favorite furniture pieces in each space, starting in the lobby. In the lobby, MGBW Poppy No-Welt Swivel Chairs are tucked neatly under the bar near the coffee station, creating an inviting spot for a quick chat or morning coffee. A few MGBW Gamma Ottomans add flexibility and extra seating, while a custom sofa positioned beneath the feature artwork offers a focal point and a comfortable place to lounge.
Just outside the leasing office, the pet spa features a Grand Rapids Dillon Communal Table at counter height, paired with Grand Rapids Sadie Counter Stools. A durable, easy-to-clean combination that’s ideal for pet grooming prep or chatting with fellow residents. These same counter stools can also be spotted upstairs on level two, bringing continuity to the design. We like to say that Level Two truly serves as the heart of community life at The Wyatt, offering a wide variety of spaces designed to entertain, connect, or simply relax, whether you’re flying solo or hanging out with friends.
The pool deck sets the tone with its inviting Dedon MBrace ALU Collection Club Chairs perfect for soaking up the sun, while generous Shadowspec Serenity Cantilever Umbrellas provide welcome shade when it’s time to cool off.
Between the loungers, Out Design Group Balance End Tables add convenience for your drink or book, making it easy to settle in and stay awhile.
Just steps away, the club room is an entertainment hub, thoughtfully furnished with plush MGBW Clifton sectionals and sofas that encourage relaxation and conversation.
Around a large square table, Blue Dot Clutch Dining Chairs offer a great spot for game nights, studying, or casual meals.
The kitchen area features Blue Dot Buddy Bar and Counter Stools that keep things stylish and functional.
And if you’re craving some friendly competition, the custom shuffleboard, pool, and foosball tables have you covered.
For those looking to focus or collaborate, the co-working space is tucked conveniently close.
Here, custom curved sofas create inviting zones for group work or quiet breaks. Indiana Furniture Kickstart Lounge Chairs with built-in cubbies provide practical spots for laptops or tablets.
The area also boasts private conference rooms and individual workstations, making it a versatile setup to fit any workflow or style.
Level Two really offers something for everyone. Whether it’s entertaining a group, socializing over games, or finding a quiet nook to get work done. It’s this thoughtful layering of spaces that makes The Wyatt’s community feel vibrant, dynamic, and welcoming.
Up on level eight, the rooftop terrace offers sweeping city views that transform throughout the day.
Between the vibrant Makers Quarter location, the endless variety of amenity spaces, and the chance to collaborate closely with talented design teams, The Wyatt has been a highlight for our team this year.
We’re proud of how every piece, from custom game tables to rooftop loungers, supports the way residents will connect, relax and work. We specialize in furniture procurement that elevates every space, from lobbies to rooftops. Lets work together.
