Hallon II, the Bold Debut: Inside Our Latest Multifamily Project

Developed by Trilogy Real Estate Group and designed by Sarah Tracey of ESG Architecture & Design, this multifamily property is filled with unexpected amenities, curated textures and many custom furnishings that bring each space to life.

We had the pleasure of furnishing both The Hallon and now Hallon II, two uniquely expressive communities just outside of Minneapolis. The design language between the two buildings is connected, but Hallon II confidently holds its own, including a secret speakeasy inspired by the hidden bookshelf lounge at the first Hallon property. From custom-made pieces to designer favorites, we worked closely with designer, Sarah Tracey and our vendor partners to create a layered, livable space that welcomes residents home (or to work, or to play) in style. As you enter the building to the lobby, the residents are welcomed by a one-of-a-kind custom reception desk, designed in collaboration with Sarah Tracey and Minnesota based maker, Concrete Pig. It sets the tone for what follows: detail-rich, high-design moments meant to impress without overwhelming.Anchoring the space are the Zion Nesting Tables by Four Hands and paired with custom Lounge Chairs and a Kovet Custom Sectional Curved Sofa, giving the lobby its fluid, conversational energy. As you move through the arched doorway off of the lobby, you'll enter the Work From Home Lounge and Conference Room areas. Hallon II understands the work-from-home resident. Throughout these spaces, you’ll find a variety of settings designed for productivity and flexibility: coworking booths, high-top tables, and private meeting spaces. The Clubroom is nestled between the coworking spaces and Listening Room. Perfect for entertaining, gathering, or unwinding with friends. It features a large sitting area and full kitchen with a dining space that feels both spacious and intentionally designed.Design highlights include the Lulu and Georgia Killian Round Side Table in Peacock, paired with the Four Hands Sheffield Coffee Table. The seating in the Clubroom includes a custom Sofa and custom Lounge Chairs, which add texture, comfort, and character to the space.

At the kitchen island, residents can pull up a seat on the custom counter stools, while meals and gatherings unfold around the sculptural custom dining table with Sunpan Horton dining chairs.
Connected to the Clubroom is the listening lounge. This cozy corner of the building is made for slowing down. The Four Hands Leo six-drawer cabinet brings natural warmth, while the Younger Buttercup Swivel Chairs offer both comfort and sculptural appeal.
Look down, and you’ll see a detail we love: a custom checkered rug designed by Sarah Tracey herself, and if you look closely, you’ll spot the Hallon logo woven subtly beneath the chairs, tying the branding into the design story.
The energetic, immersive theater and karaoke space was designed for fun. Featuring a custom curved sectional in a rich purple velvet, the room invites residents to relax, socialize, or belt out their favorite tunes. Bernhardt Neighborhood Ottomans in metallic finishes add glam and flexibility to this unique amenity space.

A few floors above the main floor, you'll find the Wellness Room. Designed to promote calm and quiet reflection. It features the Blu Dot Amicable Split Bench in walnut, paired with tate charcoal cushions, providing both beauty and function in this meditative space.

The Hallon II Sky Lounge carries its own moody magic. Tucked away from the main amenity flow, it feels intimate yet elevated. Custom millwork, ambient lighting, and plush seating give this space a distinctly after-hours feel. Whether you're entertaining guests or sneaking away with a book and a cocktail, the speakeasy serves as a stylish escape that feels both unexpected and entirely on-brand.
We created custom furniture throughout the entire lounge. Highlights include the custom dining chairs featuring a custom leopard print, designed by Sarah Tracey, as well as custom swivel chairs and bar stools.

Just beyond the lounge, the Sky Deck offers panoramic views of St. Paul and a full outdoor experience. Complete with barbecues and vibrant, durable furnishings, you’ll find the Four Hands Otero round outdoor dining table in white concrete, paired with Nala outdoor end tables, and Emu Apero counter stools in a pop of maple red for that extra design punch.Hallon II’s outdoor amenities are all about relaxation and versatility. The pool deck is outfitted with an eclectic mix of outdoor furniture, including Four Hands Portia outdoor dining chairs, Selma wicker lounge chairs, and Four Hands outdoor coffee tables that define open-air gathering spots. For those settling in for an evening movie under the stars, the outdoor theater is a highlight. Complete with turf seating, laid-back configurations, and sculptural silhouettes like the Vondom Stone lounge chair, surrounded by more Vondom accents and unique Four Hands coffee tables. We could go on and on about this project, but we'll stop here. From lobby to lounge, Hallon II proves that commercial furnishings can be both functional and expressive. We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this bold debut to life. Get in touch.
