Custom Furniture Meets Student Living: VERVE Ann Arbor

When it comes to student housing, every space matters. At VERVE Ann Arbor, in collaboration with ESG Architecture and Design and Subtext, we had the opportunity to push the boundaries of customization across nearly every corner of the property.

The lobby and coffee area, along with the leasing offices, are filled with made-to-fit sofas, custom tables, rugs and chairs. Fun accessories and artwork are scattered throughout, adding personality and creating a welcoming environment for students and visitors alike.

On Level 2, the lounge and suites feature a mix of custom tables and rugs paired with Hightower Hari dining chairs, creating spaces that balance high performance with design-forward style.

Outdoors, the pool house and rooftop amenities are equally inviting. We paired playful LUJO bean bag chairs with matching footrests alongside Blu Dot Dog Days chairs, Low Fade lounge chairs, Circula dining tables, Decade dining chairs and several Florida Seating pieces to create a mix of comfort, durability and fun.

The penthouse and fireside lounge are truly a showcase of custom craftsmanship, with bespoke chairs and sofas paired with Blu Dot Circula tall side tables and Swole tall tables. Each piece is selected to encourage connection, comfort and visual impact.

The model unit was fully furnished and accessorized to highlight the lifestyle of residents, combining custom sofas, rugs, tables and curated décor with sourced furniture pieces to create an inviting, functional, and aspirational space.
