Workshop is a modern office space envisioned and designed by DeOld Andersen Architecture for Workshop, located in The Ashton, a historic building in the Millwork neighborhood. The interiors combine functionality, collaboration and a contemporary industrial aesthetic that celebrates the building’s heritage. The design embraces a neutral-forward color palette layered with warm wood tones, subtle metal accents and pops of deeper hues that bring depth and character to each area. Textures play a central role in shaping the experience, from upholstered seating and soft textiles to polished concrete, natural wood, and exposed structural elements. Curated materials and intentional detailing reinforce a cohesive story throughout the office, creating spaces that feel approachable, thoughtfully designed, and conducive to productivity.

Furnishings were carefully selected to support flexible work, collaboration and social interaction, reflecting the diverse needs of a modern office environment. Each area, from meeting rooms and lounge zones to open workspaces, blends comfort, scale and durability while enhancing the architectural narrative and historic character of the building. Hutch Contract partnered closely with DeOld Andersen Architecture to bring the vision to life, sourcing and procuring furniture and accessories that align seamlessly with the design intent and support the functional, dynamic and engaging work environment that defines Workshop.
