The Villas at Waterside is a multifamily community envisioned and designed by Gensler Seattle for Block Multifamily Group, with interiors that fuse contemporary style and relaxed sophistication to create an elevated everyday experience. The design embraces a layered palette that blends warm neutrals, soft wood tones, and deeper accent hues, producing a calm yet energized backdrop throughout the amenity spaces. Textures range from plush upholstered seating and mixed materials to smooth finishes and refined architectural elements, adding visual depth and tactility without overpowering the spaces. Thoughtful transitions and intentional detailing guide the narrative through lounges, co‑working areas and gathering zones, reinforcing a cohesive identity that feels both polished and inviting. Strategic patterns and material pairings help differentiate spaces, whether a quiet corner for focus or a vibrant social hub, while maintaining continuity across the community.

Furnishings throughout the resort‑style pool deck with private cabanas, outdoor grilling and firepit lounges, co‑working spaces, and the chef’s kitchen were carefully selected to enhance both comfort and functionality in high‑use settings. Each zone balances scale, comfort and durability, whether providing casual seating around outdoor lounges, flexible layouts for collaboration in co‑working areas, or relaxed social settings near the pool and sundeck. Hutch Contract partnered closely with Gensler Seattle to bring the design vision to life, sourcing and procuring furniture that aligns with the aesthetic direction while reinforcing the layered textures and thoughtful material mixes seen across the imagery. The result is a multifamily environment that feels both cohesive and distinct, a community that supports connection, relaxation and contemporary living at The Villas at Waterside.
