The Clearing at One28 is a multifamily community envisioned and designed by Gensler for Block Multifamily Group, with interiors that balance modern sophistication and approachable warmth. The design embraces a neutral-forward color palette layered with warm wood tones, soft textures and deeper accent hues, creating depth and visual interest throughout the spaces. Textures play a central role in shaping the experience, from plush upholstery and layered fabrics to polished surfaces and natural finishes, giving each area a tactile, inviting quality. Thoughtful detailing, curated materials and intentional transitions guide the narrative across the property, resulting in a cohesive environment that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Furnishings throughout amenity areas and social spaces were carefully selected to support daily life, relaxation and community engagement, ensuring comfort, scale and durability in high-use settings. Shared lounges, coworking zones, outdoor terraces and the pool deck were all composed with layered materials, soft textiles and functional layouts that invite gathering and connection. Hutch Contract partnered closely with Gensler to bring the design vision to life, sourcing and procuring furniture and accessories that complement the color palette, enhance the user experience and reinforce the sophisticated, livable character that defines The Clearing at One28.
