Steelhouse is a cutting‑edge concert venue envisioned and designed by Holland Basham Architects for Steelhouse and Omaha Performing Arts, with interiors that capture the energy and excitement of live performance. The design features a bold, expressive color palette with deep, grounding tones accented by pops of bright color, paired with layered textures that range from plush upholstery to smooth, durable surfaces. Custom wallpaper and graphic finishes bring personality and rhythm to each space, reinforcing the venue’s identity while guiding guests through the lobby, gathering areas, and VIP lounges. The combination of texture, color and pattern creates a cohesive yet playful atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of music and community.
Hutch Contract partnered closely with Holland Basham Architects to bring the vision to life, furnishing VIP lounges with bright, durable seating that complements various custom wallpapers, curating lobby seating for the concessions area and sourcing a custom DJ table as a central focal point. Each piece was selected for comfort, scale and high‑use durability while enhancing the overall aesthetic narrative. The result is a venue where vibrant design and functional furniture come together, supporting social connection, performance energy and memorable guest experiences throughout Steelhouse.
