Forest Lawn Mausoleum

Forest Lawn Mausoleum is a funeral and memorial services facility envisioned and led by Forest Lawn Mausoleum in collaboration with designer Bruce Frasier, with interiors designed to convey serenity, dignity and thoughtful craftsmanship. The design embraces a calming color palette of soft neutrals layered with deeper accent tones, creating visual harmony and a refined atmosphere throughout the space. Texture is carefully integrated, with natural finishes, layered surfaces and tactile details that add depth while maintaining a tranquil and contemplative environment. Material transitions, subtle contrasts and intentional detailing guide the experience through the facility, supporting reflection and gathering while reinforcing the cohesive design narrative.

Furnishings were carefully selected to complement the architectural vision while maintaining simplicity and functionality, limited to chairs, benches and a coffee table throughout the mausoleum’s communal and contemplative spaces. Each piece balances comfort, scale and durability, providing practical support for visitors without detracting from the solemn, refined atmosphere. Hutch Contract partnered closely with Forest Lawn Mausoleum and Bruce Frasier to bring the design vision to life, sourcing and procuring furniture that aligns with the aesthetic direction and reinforces the facility’s calm and welcoming environment.
