Ervin and Smith is an agency office space envisioned and designed by RDG Planning & Design for Ervin and Smith, with interiors that reflect the firm’s innovative spirit, collaborative ethos and thoughtful approach to work culture. The design embraces a contemporary palette of warm neutrals grounded by deep accent tones, creating a balanced backdrop that feels both professional and inviting. Textures are thoughtfully layered throughout the space, from smooth architectural surfaces and refined millwork to plush upholstery and mixed material finishes, adding visual richness that complements the creative energy of the workplace. Intentional transitions, clean lines and curated material pairings help guide the narrative from collaborative hubs to focused work zones, reinforcing a cohesive identity that supports both productivity and connection.

Furnishings throughout the space were carefully selected to support a variety of work styles and interactions, creating environments that feel purposeful and welcoming. Flexible workstations, collaborative lounges and meeting areas were composed with attention to comfort, scale and durability, ensuring each setting functions well in a high‑use office environment. Hutch Contract partnered closely with RDG Planning & Design to bring the vision to life, sourcing and procuring furniture and accessories that align with the design direction while enhancing usability and comfort throughout the workspace. The result is an office environment that feels thoughtfully curated, visually cohesive and reflective of Ervin and Smith’s dynamic culture and design sensibility.
